The camcorder seems fine, lens is clear no scratches. Did you convert your sample somehow? I checked all the setting on the camcorder - all look fine. Any clues? I got this camcorder today. I will post more samples from other HD camcorder manufacturers soon. I've still got 13 videos to publish from CeBIT. I think these ones produce really impressively good HD video quality for the price. As you can hear though, sound quality is still bad. The day one of those cheap camcorders incorporate a audio mini-jack input for an external microphone, and that this would be tested to provide good sound recordings, then I'd say these could definitely replace more expensive camcorders by Sony, Panasonic, Canon and the best currently available in my opinion the Sanyo ones.
