This is a nice looking compact ultra low voltage laptop by Asus. In a certain way this will be a competitor to the Intel Classmate educationnal laptop. This one is using the VIA ultra low voltage processor to use as little as 3.5 watts in use.

H9 is an interesting UMPC with a 7 inch screen. It runs on Linux, comes with 20GB, 800×480 resolution screen, GPS and more. It could cost as little as 430$ according to the representative if you buy 200 pieces.

This is the worlds smallest UMPC, it runs a full Windows XP, has 4.3 inch screen, costs 700$ with the Windows XP licence, but isn’t available before July. Comes with 30 or 60GB 1.8 inch hard disk drive, 256mb ram on the AMD Geode LX800 processor.

Microsoft and Intel release the UMPC platform, initially presented at this CeBIT by Samsung, Asus and Founder. It’s a small Windows XP Tablet PC, with a few interface features made by Microsoft to try to make the navigation more user friendly using fingers on the touch-screen.
