Open Pandora EvilDragon Interview

Pandora is an open source Pocket Linux laptop project using the new Texas Instruments ARMv7 Cortex processor as well as the Texas Instruments NEON 3D acceleration and Texas Instruments DaVinci DSP multimedia accelerator. Toshiba R500 Laptop at IFA 2008

This business high end Toshiba Laptop has been out for over a year, but it’s still cool to check out. It’s light at below 800 grams, has a sunlight readable transflective LED backlit screen, a quite long battery life, long WiFi diversity antenna range, several security features including fingerprint recognition and Bluetooth proximity laptop activation. It’s still expensive though.

MSI Wind – Medion Akoya Mini – review

E-Lead presents the Noahpad, their own invention for a new kind of laptop with integrated keyboard in mouse in two large pads, and a resolution that is larger than the screen to provide a larger desktop area.

Belinea laptops

Showing the 7″ touchscreen laptop distributed by Belinea in Europe, based on the Everex Cloudbook, uses a VIA processor, it provides a 700€ super light laptop with a 7″ touchscreen and a special module port on the right side of the screen to include a mobile phone, a GPS or a HSDPA data modem. Showing also a more expensive thin LED backlit laptop.
