Posted by Charbax on 31st August 2007

Showing some amazingly thin new LCD backlight technology (Sharp representatives say that the technology used is a secret), the 52″ LCD TV is now only 2 inches thick. Also showing the famous 4K LCD TV from Sharp. I’m looking forward for these technologies becomming available.

JVC

Posted by Charbax on 31st August 2007

JVC has their D-ILA technology which they use in their projectors and rear-projection TVs, and which they claim provides superior quality. Still JVC seems to be positionned well over DLP and 3LCD in terms of price. They also are launching a 1000-something dollar 1920×1080 interlaced 27mbit/s Mpeg2 hard drive based camcorder.
