Imagine having 3D charachters in your living room, those interacting with your furniture, walking around on your floor casting their shadows and reacting to a kick or a push that you would make. This is totally possible using this quite interesting futuristic real-time 3D rendering of 3D charachters interacting with pre-defined objects filmed with a High Definition camera. (would require some transparent High Definition video glasses to actually see the virtual charachters interact with the real world other than being able to see them on your HDTV.)

This is a nice looking compact ultra low voltage laptop by Asus. In a certain way this will be a competitor to the Intel Classmate educationnal laptop. This one is using the VIA ultra low voltage processor to use as little as 3.5 watts in use.

H9 is an interesting UMPC with a 7 inch screen. It runs on Linux, comes with 20GB, 800×480 resolution screen, GPS and more. It could cost as little as 430$ according to the representative if you buy 200 pieces.

An IBM representative at CeBIT 2007 shows some Linux software that can utilise the whole power of the Cell processor chip, which for certain processor intensive tasks as Multimedia, 3D, physics simulation is 10 to 50 times faster than Intel or AMD single and dual core chips.
