Viliv P2 is a nice looking PMP which bz default boots in Windows CE but can also boot in Linux Qtopia. It runs on a MIPS based processor from AMD, so software for Windows CE or Qtopia ported for that kind of MIPS can work. It’s got a nice and bright touch-screen. Has been launched a month ago in Korea.

check back around 6PM Berlin time, at that time I will be at the IFA press center and I will be able to add a whole bunch of videos. Mitsubishi electric’s new 1080p projector, samsung DLP, digital cube, viliv, casemodding competition and israelli specialist with secret industry info and I will also add the Google Video links to all the videos. I will also try to use a different server to host the big video files, so that ifa2006.net stays fast to access if many more people visit this page. Now I will walk around the IFA and do an hour or two more to encode and upload tomorrow. I will check Dvico Tvix, 1080p screens and walk around the chinese and taiwaneese area. If you have got any request for companies that I should interview, send me an email.

A software to install on your Windows XP computer with media center extender. Then it transcodes any kind of video in realtime to play it back on consumer electronic devices, be them on your local network, like a cheap mpeg2 set-top-box or be it on the go, with a 3G or Wifi mobile device.
